Judo Uniform - Single Weave Black

This single weave black judo/jujitsu uniform is designed by U.S. Olympic coach Willy Cahill and taylored to American sizes. It is made of 100% natural cotton. The judo gi jacket is designed with the traditional rice-grain weave. The sleeves and uniform top are cut a little shorter to provide passive defense to various garment holds. The pants are heavy twill with reinforced knees and an elastic drawstring waist.

No belt is included.

Haven't bought one yet, but Tom showed a size 6 to me today. It is light weight, and traditional rice grain. There is a seam running in the middle of the back from collar to waist. The bottom portion of the kimono (that is usually called the skirt) appears to be sewn on. It looks well made. For the price, it is appropriate and a good Summer weight Gi. Pants is made of a different fabric. It's shinny and looks like a blend. The waist is elastic with drawstring. For the price you can't go wrong. So, if you are tired of it you can get something else later on. It's a nice one for Summer use, or as an ersatz (in German, means something like "substitute" or "replacement").
