Return Policy


Questions or concerns regarding your recent order? Kataaro can help! Call us or send us an email with the details so we can better assist you in the best steps forward. Kataaro accepts returns and exchanges within 15 days of receipt. Returned items must be in their original condition and must not be neglected, damaged, modified, washed, or altered in any way.

Since Kataaro items are custom, we reserve the right to not accept certain returns based on the ability to resell the item. Some unique features that may affect the ability to resell are large or narrow width, stiff firmness, rank stripes, and features not listed on the website. Embroidered items and the Kataaro Heavyweight USA Karate Uniforms are not typically eligible for return. Services such as Rush or Expedite production and digitizing for a logo are not refundable. Clearance item sales are final.

Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returned items and exchanges, except in cases of manufacturing error. Items returned for refund or exchange are subject to a restocking fee ranging from 25% to 50% of the retail cost.

If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect or error, we will happily replace or repair it! The choice of repair or replacement will be decided by Kataaro management. Kataaro does not assume the risk of proper fit for uniforms and belts. Proper fit is solely the responsibility of the purchaser. Any belt delivered that meets our size tolerances listed on our Belt Information page is not considered a manufacturing defect or error.

Please notify us immediately if your product was damaged in shipping. Kataaro must be notified within 7 days of receipt in order to make a shipping insurance claim. Please email photos of the damaged package and the damaged item to


Orders may be cancelled and a full refund issued if production has not started. If an order or product is cancelled while the product is still in production, the product is subject to the same restocking fee listed above.

Kataaro reserves the right to cancel embroidery orders if no response is received to an embroidery design proof within 120 days after payment. After 120 days have passed, a refund cannot be issued. Any remaining funds from the cancelled order will be applied as loyalty credit to your account for use on your next order.
