How Free Rank Stripes for Life Works

1. Include a note with your contact information and stripe instructions.*
2. Ship your Kataaro belt to our facility using a trackable shipping service.**
3. We'll create an order and contact you for return shipping payment.
4. Our team will add your new rank stripes (for embroidered stripes, a proof will be sent to you for approval).
5. Your belt is inspected, packaged, and returned, with tracking information emailed to you.

Ship your belt to:

* Include your name, return shipping address, phone number, email address, and a brief description of the stripe(s) to be added.

** For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping service such as USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx.

Terms & Conditions

• Your Kataaro belt becomes eligible after the original order has been completed and delivered.
• All Kataaro martial arts belts are eligible. Accessories, street belts, belt key chains, and non-belt items are excluded.
• Each submission may receive up to two (2) complimentary rank stripes.
• Free stripes include up to two standard embroidered (¼-inch) or sewn-on (½-inch) rank stripes, or one non-standard stripe.
• Additional stripes beyond the complimentary allowance are subject to standard pricing.
• Stripe placement is subject to available space on the belt.
• Customers are responsible for shipping the belt to Kataaro and for return shipping charges.
• Kataaro reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I send more than one Kataaro belt?

Yes. You may send as many Kataaro belts as you like to receive additional rank stripes. Return shipping charges will apply based on the size of the order.

2. Do I need proof of promotion?

No. Proof of promotion is not required. Any eligible Kataaro belt may be submitted for additional rank stripes.

3. Can I send a non-Kataaro belt?

Yes. We can add rank stripes to non-Kataaro martial arts belts; however, they do not qualify for the Free Rank Stripes for Life program. Standard embroidery and production charges will apply.

4. How long does the process take?

Free Rank Stripes for Life orders are typically completed within approximately 6 business days after return shipping payment is received. If additional embroidery services or embroidered products are added to the order, production is typically completed within approximately 12 business days.

5. Who pays for shipping?

Customers are responsible for shipping their belt to Kataaro and for return shipping charges. We will contact you to arrange return shipping payment after your belt arrives.
