Deluxe BJJ Red and White Coral Belt
Crafted for senior masters in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the Kataaro Red and White Coral Belt (Faixa Coral Vermelha e Branca) represents decades of dedication, leadership, and achievement. Traditionally awarded at the 8th-degree black belt level, this prestigious belt is often associated with instructor titles such as Kyoshi, Shihan, or Grandmaster, reflecting a lifetime of teaching, influence, and service to the art. Symbolically named after the striking Coral Snake, it honors mastery, respect, and rare expertise.
Built for both beauty and durability, the belt features a double cotton core with a poly/cotton outer layer to ensure long-lasting color and structural integrity. Each red end panel measures 10.5 inches, while the remaining panels are carefully balanced between 9.5 and 11.5 inches for a harmonious design. Each panel is sewn with matching thread color in a distinctive “maze” pattern for refined, elegant styling.
The belt includes a 7-inch black rank sleeve (rank bar) on the red end panel, finished with a ¾-inch white instructor trim. Optional ½-inch rank stripes may be added to visually represent rank progression and accomplishments earned through years of instruction and leadership.
Ideal for promotion ceremonies, seminars, or formal appearances by the master-level BJJ practitioner, this belt embodies the tradition, prestige, and authority expected of a Kyoshi, Shihan, or Grandmaster.
Disclaimer: Instructor titles such as Kyoshi, Shihan, and Grandmaster are used descriptively to convey seniority and teaching distinction. These titles are not formal ranks within Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and may vary by organization, lineage, or federation.
