First of all, there should be no question about Kataaro's quality. I had initially ordered a 1.75", stiff, brown belt for karate, and loved it so much that I went ahead and ordered a 1.5", stiff, natural white (unbleached) belt for my training in aikido. I couldn't stand the low quality, floppy, flimsy mass produced obis that everyone's used to from big martial arts suppliers anymore. They didn't wear well, and presented horribly at competitions. In came Kataaro's amazing belts, which are made to order, and in the exact specs that you're looking for. If you need an obi for any of the Japanese/Okinawan belts, def don't hesitate to hit them up and grab yours!

I recently ordered a deluxe rank belt and just wanted to say thank you. It really is the best quality belt I’ve seen, and I’ve owned some and seen lots of well known “quality” brands. Also, a regular blue belt this well made (custom made even) is really something out of the ordinary and something I had been looking for for a long time.
So considering the nice finish of the street belt I also ordered and how smooth the whole process from order to delivery was, I just wanted to express my gratitude and let you know that I will definitely be back for future purchases. Sincerely, Johan

I have bought 2 belts so far, there will be a 3rd (not this model, and not till 2021-22). (belt #1) I got a 2"wide stiff core green belt. The quality is really good, loved it -except- too stiff to stay tied. It was tossed off the mat 2-3 times because it was in the way.
So my new belt (belt #2) 1.75", red core, with custom embroidery. Brown. (I really like the colors of the belts very vibrant). This one is 1000% better at staying tied. Love the look and feel. If a friend was asking for a belt recommendation I would tell them 1.75" red core is the way to go.
Now, given my experience with the first one not staying tied, why would I buy another? The feel is great, the stitching is awesome and stright and tight! It didn't fade and no noticeable shrinkage. After a few months it still wasn't broken in - that speaks volumes to quality. Been asked a few times who made it.

Received my second rank belt from Kataaro just yesterday. I love the quality of the belts, they are such nice belts and they cost roughly the same as other belts that aren't even a fraction of the quality. I'm somewhat glad that my dojo doesn't carry a belt in my size for promotions because I have thoroughly come to love my kataaro belts.

I use these for my Competition Team members, and wouldn't settle for anything less. Every order is top quality and the team loves them. If anyone is hesitating to order, DON'T. You won't regret it. Can't wait to order more!

I received the [yellow] belt several days ago. I'm very pleased. Great quality belt. Well worth the price. I will certainly recommend to others and hopefully order additional colours as I move up the ranks.

All I have to say is WOW ! I love my deluxe rank belt ! The quality of the material, the weight of it, and the stitching is just beyond my expectations. I ordered the firm belt and it has some nice weight to it, I love it, thank you Kataaro you have a customer for life. Also I ordered the shadow box for my belt, and it is made of the finest wood and craftsmanship.

Thank you Kataaro for the deluxe brown belt. It fits perfectly. It's cool to have a custom belt that you can't buy anywhere else and is better than the Japan-made ones. Very high quality. I'll tell everyone who made it and I'll honor it well. --Kyle Phillips
