Amazing belt, breaks in nicely and has a good balance between firm and softness to it. I ordered a blue belt 5 years ago, now going into purple and the blue still holds up. No loose stitchings or fuzziness. I do wash my belt after every class so it did fade slightly in color, I’d say about 10%-15% color loss , so it just looks like a lighter blue but still a nice color. It did shrink some I’d say about 8% shrinkage. But over all the best belt money can buy you for bjj. I’ve tried several other belts and this is the one. I will be buying all of my belts at kataaro.

Super high quality belt. The construction is solid and is noticeably "different" than other belts, without coming off as flashy or attention-seeking. Seems to be aging really nicely after a few months. The belt WILL shrink if washed in warm water or machine dried- substantially moreso than a belt with an inner core. I washed mine warm once to shrink it a little bit and have only used cold water since then- fits perfectly.

Such a Beautiful Belt!
My grappling weave belt is now 1.2 years old and I machine wash it weekly at a low temperature. As someone weighing 150lbs (light feather) , I ordered that belt new at a length of 115 inches. The belt shrunk to 105 inches, which is 8.7% shrinkage, and it fits perfectly now. Hope this information aids.

love my weave A3 brown belt. i'll be getting my black belt the size between A3 and A4 because the thickness of the knot makes the tails a little shorter than my purple belt. might be the move to go up a half size if you're coming from a lower quality belt.

Everything about this belt is amazing. From the ordering process to the minor changes I wanted made. The craftsmanship is absolutely amazing. You can tell the individuals working on the belt really care about the product they are making, from the material used to the stitching. Just amazing.

Grappling weave belts are the way to go in my opinion. They stay tied way better than the standard variety. Kataaro's attention to detail, and customer service are excellent as well. As long as they keep operating the way they currently do, I will order all my future belts here.

Thanks, Gage for helping me select the right belt and taking the time to go over my next belt as well. If you do jiu jitsu or you just want an awesome belt, the grappling weave is absolutely the best. They were right - from the box right to the mat, the knot held super tight as they said it does. I couldn't be happier, they made it to my requirements and I got it fast. Thanks again

This is the best belt I have ever owned! It is the only belt I have every owned that stays tied when I am rolling. I have been practicing BJJ for 16 years and I have a few black belts in my "collection" but the quality of this belt surpasses all the other belts out there...I will buy another when I wear this one out...
